Classic Remote does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers.
All TV control commands are sent directly from your device to your Smart TV on your local network. No TV control data leaves your home network. Third-party services described below may transmit data to their servers.
The free version displays banner ads provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect:
You can deny tracking permission — ads will still appear but will be non-personalized.
The "Remove Ads" purchase is processed by Apple App Store. We do not have access to your payment information.
Purchase status is verified using RevenueCat. RevenueCat collects pseudonymous device identifiers, IP address, and purchase receipts to verify and manage your purchase. See RevenueCat's privacy policy for details.

The app requires access to your local network to discover and control Smart TVs (Philips, LG, Samsung, Sony, TCL, Xiaomi, Hisense). This permission is requested at first launch. No network data is sent outside your local network.
No user data is stored on our servers. The app stores the following data locally on your device:
On iOS, TV configuration and credentials are shared with the widget extension via App Group storage to enable widget functionality.
The app uses WebRTC locally (without external servers) to detect your device's local network address for TV discovery. No data is transmitted externally during this process.
This app does not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
